Greeting Fellow E-12ers from Extravaganza headquarters where, as you can see from the attached photos, it is, indeed a winter wonderland (and precisely why we fish during the summer months around here)!!
Post that wonderful, “lights out” Niner victory on Monday Night (was that a special football game, or what?!?—Go Niners!!) , your wonderful Hostess With The Mostess and grabbed a scheduled (very) early morning Tuesday flight only to arrive to relatively shockingly cold temperatures and to awake this morning to the most wonderful snowfall that you could imagine. Temperatures should hit a resounding high of 21 degrees today with lows to be in the single digits; and, to further mark the contrast, unlike during the summer months, when it is light outside until after 10:30 p.m., today’s sunset on this penultimate shortest day of the year will be right around 4:45 p.m.
As we look ahead to this coming Christmas weekend, please receive the attached pictures of it all as our supplemental Holiday Card together with our wishes to each of you and your families for a safe and joyously festive season.
Extravaganza 2012 (nearly sold out, btw) is now just six short months ahead (in fact, Group One flies home exactly 6 months from today!) and, with plans well beyond well under way for our to-be historic tenth Extravaganza, believe you me E-12 will show up prominently on each of your personal 2012 highlights reel!!
Best to all from the scene of it all,
Rock Creek Ron
